Silver Sands ResortChristchurch, Barbados3* Room OnlyLittle Bay is the location, quiet and secluded with 14 acres of gardens beside a beach that hosted the 1999 Windsurfing World Championships. There's a permanent breeze which helps cool you down in the sun, and the waves are great for boogie boarding - otherwise you can relax, take it easy, and watch the experts whizz up and down the waves on their wind- and kitesurfers - it really is spectacular! Beach cricket and tennis games are often arranged, and you can play table tennis beside the beach, or real tennis on one of the 2 courts (further to run into the sea afterward, though!). Studios with kitchenettes are available if you like the flexibility of self-catering, though if you'd rather be eating than cooking, the 2 restaurants will look after you. All rooms are comfortable, but we highly recommend you upgrade to the newer, deluxe ocean view studios and suites. If you fancy a night out, St Lawrence Gap is not far away by taxi, otherwise enjoy the tranquillity of this secluded hotel.
