Designed for indoor/outdoor living, the accommodation is set into the stunningly landscaped hillside with views over the bay and surrounding hills. As well as 2 swimming pools and a fitness centre, there is a choice of restaurants and bars in the hotel, as well as in the adjacent Marina Village and around the bay.

Water sports, including yachting, scuba-diving and deep-sea fishing available (payable locally), nearby rainforest walks, climbing and visits to the hot springs, volcano and botanical gardens.

Food & Drink

Doubloon restaurant, the Rainforest Hideaway Champagne bar and fusion restaurant (a short boat ride across the bay), the Pink Snail cocktail bar, Hurricane Hole bar and Coffee Dock. The Marina Village, adjacent to Discovery, incorporates a supermarket, shops, boutiques and café, set round a central garden courtyard.

67 luxury rooms and 57 suites (30 with private plunge pools). All bedrooms have air-conditioning and ceiling fans, hardwood floors, large balconies, cable TV, music systems, telephone, Internet access, ironing board and hairdryer. Large luxury bathrooms incorporate walk-in drench showers, bidets, telephones and dual basins set in slate vanities. Non-smoking rooms on request.
