Location

The Hotel is situated at about 6 km from the centre of Marbella. It is built directly at the sea front. There is a bus stop right in front of it and the Malaga Airport is just over an hour away.

 

 

 

Food & Drink

The restaurant of the hotel offers breakfast (with Spanish champagne) starting 8 am during the winter season until 10 am. Half board and full board service is available here. All meals are buffet style with a large variety of dishes and show-cooking (Grills with meat, fish, vegetables, and crepes).

According to the season, a la carte service is available at the Beach Club. Pub “Al Andalus” offers refreshing drinks. The pool bar “Ancla” is open only during the summer. There you can enjoy, besides your drink, various snacks (between 13:00 - 15:00). Finally you can enjoy your drink at the Bar de Copas in the Hall of the reception during the winter season and starting one hour earlier during the summer period.

Activities & Facilities

The thematic swimming-pool with Jacuzzi, toboggans and fountains is the ideal place for your swimming. The sunbeds and the bathing-towels are offered gratis. There is also a heated indoor swimming-pool, but it is open from 15/10 till 15/05 every year. The hotel provides solarium service as well. Additionally there are a Beach Club, a free Gym and a Game Hall. Mini-golf, table tennis facilities and water sports (in front of the hotel), as well as an amazing 18-hole golf-course (the latter can be enjoyed only prior to reservation and on extra local charge). Marbella Playa provides evening entertainment for its guests on the Terrace built and maintained specifically for his purpose. Day- and evening-entertainment for children as well as for adults is also provided.

The hotel also has on its grounds Conference rooms, outdoor parking against payment, a hairdresser, a souvenir shop and newspapers venting. Additionally there is a playing area for the youngsters. The Mini-Club Delfín Playa provides a world with measures for the most special customers of the hotel, the children. It is a world where children of 4 years and older can spend all their energy. It is open every day from 1st June to 30th September, including holidays. It offers you plays and all kind of activities, a free cap in the entrance, a picture book with colour sticks and also the Mini Club Card. There is an invitation of a free drink during your stay. Additionally, for young people between 12 and 17 years old, it offers a lot of sport games and leisure.

Rooms

Marbella Playa contains 331 rooms in total. These are double rooms with garden and Junior Suites both include a complete bathroom with hairdryer, air conditioning / heating, a ceiling-fan with remote control, a TV with more than 20 channels, telephone with direct line, mini bar (at extra charge) and a safe-deposit box. The double rooms with gardens are situated in typical Andalusian-style houses and are surrounded by communal gardens. In particular they will have two twin beds, or one double bed, a mini bar (at extra charge) and most of them will give you the relaxing pleasure of a terrace. The Junior Suites dispose of one twin bed a round bathtub in the room and a dressing-room with ironing facilities. Baby cots are available on request and will count as one person in the room and not in addition to the maximum occupancy.
